The Herdade da Caniceira Stud Farm was born in these same landscapes of Alto Alentejo in 1998, having a group of six Lusitano mares in its genesis.
Since its beginnings, our stud has kept the focus on breeding Lusitano breed horses for leisure and sport.
Herdade da Caniceira finds today specimens of its creation in the ranks of some of the most renowned national and international riders, outstanding in various disciplines, from dressage to bullfighting.
